The Bluedot Fleet

To serve you best, we have our own Cessna C680 Sovereign Air Ambulance Jet, loaded with up-to-date medical equipment. Our aircraft has the biggest passenger capacity in its segment (4 co-passengers, plus medical crew and patient), and a relatively long-range (over 5000 km). It is the biggest midsize medevac flight in the Middle East and South Asia.

We also employ several kinds of jets from a large fleet of aircraft, depending on patient needs, from short-range, such as King Air B200, to mid-range, such as Learjet 45, to long-range flights such as Challenger 650 or Global Express, as well as network with ground ambulances and helicopter ambulances for shorter range parts of the journey.

About Saudi Arabia

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) is the fifth-largest country in Asia, the second-largest in the Arab world, and the largest in Western Asia. It is bordered by the Red Sea to the west; Jordan, Iraq, and Kuwait to the north; the Persian Gulf, Qatar, and the United Arab Emirates to the east; Oman to the southeast; and Yemen to the south. Bahrain is an island country off the east coast of the Kingdom.bIts capital and largest city are Riyadh. The country is also home to Mecca and Medina, the two holiest cities in the Islamic world, which see millions of international pilgrims every year.

Jeddah International Airport

The Kingdom’s second-largest city and biggest seaport are in the city of Jeddah. The city houses the Jeddah International Airport (King Abdulaziz International), the country’s third-largest and busiest airport (serving more than 41 million passengers in 2018). JED sees the highest number of international travelers in the Kingdom and is the largest hub for Saudi Arabia’s flag carrier, Saudia. The airport provides facilities required for the service of pilgrims and those who visit the country to perform Umrah. It has three operational passenger terminals: the North Terminal, the Hajj Terminal, and the new Terminal 1. The Hajj Terminal was specially built for Muslim pilgrims going to Mecca annually on the Hajj.

Tourism Destination

While most tourism in Saudi Arabia largely involves religious pilgrimages, there is growth in the leisure tourism sector due to the opening up of a number of historical and naturally rich destinations around the country. Tourism is an important component of the Saudi Vision 2030, a state-promoted guideline to diversify the economy and develop public service sectors such as health, education, infrastructure, recreation, and tourism.

According to research conducted prior to the COVID-19 pandemic, domestic tourist trips were projected to rise 8 percent in 2019, while inbound visits from international markets were expected to grow by 5.6 percent per year. The overall number of tourist trips was projected to hit 93.8 million by 2023, up from 64.7 million in 2018.

Healthcare Services in Saudi Arabia

The Kingdom has a national healthcare system in which the government provides free universal healthcare coverage through a number of agencies. There is also a growing role for, and increased participation from, the private sector in the provision of healthcare services. Saudi Arabia has been ranked among the 26 best countries in providing high-quality healthcare.

As of 2020, there are a total of 504 hospitals in the country. 287 of these are under the direction of the Ministry of Health. While 50 more hospitals are run by governmental organizations, the remaining 160+ hospitals are privately operated.
